Global Citizenship Project

We all know what it means to be a good citizen in our own town or city, but what does it mean

to be a good global citizen? In this unit, students will learn to appreciate other cultures, connect

across difference, and reach out to make others’ lives better. During class, we will “travel” to

three regions: Central America, South America, and Africa.  In each region, students will

study:

  • Geography of the continent (map quizzes)

  • History

  • Resources – Physical and Cultural

  • Standard of Living / Economics
