Extra Help: Tuesdays 3-4pm in room 405 or by appointment.
This course is designed to build upon
students' skills, as they develop a strong algebra foundation, in
preparation for Algebra I which they'll take next year. In this course
students will be challenged to think critically, to apply their skills
to real world problems, to clearly and thoroughly explain their process,
and to articulate the meaning of their answer. Topics include simplifying expressions, evaluating and solving equations and inequalities, and graphing linear functions/equations. Real world applications are presented within the course content, emphasizing further development of students' problem solving and analytical skills.
