IACS has a new backyard (front yard in our case) ice rink that is open for use. It is located on the practice field near the middle school parking lot. A big thank you to our facilities crew (Mike, Colin & Ozzie) for putting it together. Our PE classes and choice block classes may be using it this winter. Students are able to use it after school if they bring their own skates. Use would be at their own risk, because they will not be supervised. We only ask that students take care not to damage the liner along the walls with their skates so that it will last us many years. We also plan on using it for the Embrace Winter Family Social that will be taking place on February 5th.  |
