The Innovation Academy boys had a fantastic meet, winning the 400m, shot put, and 4x400m, on their way to earning the runner-up trophy. The Hawks scored 58. The meet was won by Norton High School who ran away with the boys title with 108 points.

"It was a true team effort. We came into the meet hoping for a top 5 finish as a team, but ALL of the boys really stepped up. Everyone who competed matched or exceeded their seed, achieving a personal best performance in at least one of their events." - Nolan McKinnon (Head Coach)

The meet was kicked off by Jack Panneton's (So.) 2nd place in the pentathlon, setting 3 school records and 2 season bests. The boys 4x800m quartet of Victor Silva (So.), Calvin Lee (So.), Lee DiMattia (Sr.), and William Paulo (Sr.) placed 6th, surpassing their 13th place seed, in a time of 8:33.35. In the boys mile, Cedric Nsilo-Swai (Jr.) took the lead from the gun, holding it until 70 meters left in the race, ultimately settling for 2nd place and a 5 second PR of 4:32.05. In spite of coming in with only the 4th fastest time, Nicholas Scarsdale (Sr. ) defended his 400m title comfortably in a time of 50.00. Connor Felty (Sr.) had a strong 3rd place in the boys discus, before stunning the favorites in the boys shot put, winning the event with a throw of 49 feet and 9.75 inches. Tim O'Neill (Sr.) placed 6th in the pole vault, clearing 10'6". The competition for the 2nd place team trophy had 3 teams in contention (Innovation Academy 38 points, Amesbury 37 points, and Stoneham 36 points), going into the last event. The foursome of Cedric Nsilo-Swai, Lee DiMattia, William Paulo, and Nicholas Scarsdale sealed Innovation Academy's bid, winning the 4x400m by nearly 5 seconds, in a time of 3:29.29.

Other Innovation results: Nicholas Passarelli (So.) placed 17th in the mile (4:54.00) and 19th in the 2 mile (10:43.19). Victor Silva placed 24th in the 800m (2:10.58). Lee DiMattia placed 22nd in the 200m with a time of 24.08.
